For this monthly prompt from Kate at The Squirrel Chase, the idea is pick a photo you want to play with and process it using three different methods. The photo I’m featuring today is one I took of a gift basket I purchased for some friends of ours who were celebrating their wedding anniversary last month.
All processed photos were made using apps available for the iPhone at Apple’s App Store. Also, all images, including the original, were resized (shrunk) to make them quicker to load (and to take up less space in my WordPress media folder).

Which image do you like best?
The last one is more arty!

I love the on with the prisma app. It’s as if we have xray vision into santa’s sac.

I generally prefer the original photo, but in this case I also like the one with prisma app, which brings out the important parts without destroying the reality of the original!.

I’m an earth child not a gift basket baby. I’m drawn to the background plants in the original……

So you’re saying I should have kept the gift basket for myself and given them one of the background plants for their anniversary instead?

They might be earthies and like background plants. They might not be partial to gift baskets. Bit passe…….

Hey? There’s a song about that. Classic 60’s rock……
I’m an earth child mama
Not a gift basket baby
Give me clods not a dummy
Wanna groove with ya baby
Bout this chick who reckons her guy was her ‘gift basket’ Sugar daddy sorta idea….
Sung by Danny and the Dirtclodders……..
Don’t remember it?………

I must have called in sick that day.

Pity , you would have liked them. Sadly, Danny and the Dirtclodders were a one-hit wonder. Gift Shop Baby only sold 10 copies. I was lucky enough to get a signed vinyl. By Danny and all seven Dirtclodders. Stay tuned for our next big hit. I did. But it didn’t…….

I like the prisma one with just the reds in color. But all of the effects are cool.
