Rapper Kanye West, Tesla founder Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump were mockingly dubbed “The Three Stooges” after {an obviously cogent} tweet from House Judiciary Committee Republicans went awry [on the 6th of October].

It’s been a bizarre October… and we’re just past halfway through.

The head of the American Defamation League, Jonathan Greenblatt [on October 16th] accused Trump of “Jewsplaining.”
“We don’t need the former president, who curries favor with extremists and antisemites, to lecture us about the US-Israel relationship. It is not about a quid pro quo; it rests on shared values and security interests. This ‘Jewsplaining’ is insulting and disgusting,” he wrote.
The Jewish Democratic Council of America similarly lambasted Trump’s remarks. “His threat to Jewish Americans and his continued use of the antisemitic dual loyalty trope fuels hatred against Jews,” the group tweeted. “We will not be threatened by Donald Trump and Jewish Americans will reject GOP bigotry this November.”
Trump’s comments echo an argument he has made before. In an interview last December, the former President argued that Jewish Americans “either don’t like Israel or don’t care about Israel,” and also repeated his claim that evangelicals “love Israel more than the Jews in this country.”

KYIV, Ukraine—Elon Musk said the cost of maintaining Starlink terminals in Ukraine is approaching $20 million a month and SpaceX can’t fund the internet service indefinitely on its own… [and] Mr. Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corp.[ sent a letter to the Pentagon] …
“We remain in communication with SpaceX about this and other topics,” said Sabrina Singh, deputy Pentagon press secretary.
CNN earlier reported that SpaceX had sent a letter to the Pentagon.

In addition to the cost of terminals, [Musk] said SpaceX has had to create, launch, maintain and replenish satellites, ground stations and pay telecommunications companies for certain internet access. “We’ve also had to defend against cyberattacks & jamming, which are getting harder. …
The issue of Starlink’s costs comes after a public spat between Mr. Musk and Ukrainian officials over a different matter. Last week, Mr. Musk suggested on Twitter that Ukraine give up swaths of its territory in concession to Russia’s invasion, provoking an uproar among Ukrainians who said it parroted the Kremlin.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Mr. Zelensky, said Friday that Kyiv would find a solution to keep Starlink working in Ukraine and expected SpaceX to maintain service in the interim.
“Like it or not, [Mr. Musk] helped us survive the most critical moments of war,” Mr. Podolyak wrote on Twitter. “Business has the right to its own strategies.”

After he recently suggested in one interview that China take a limited amount of control over Taiwan, a self-ruled island with a democratic system, Taiwanese politicians emphasized their commitment to their democracy.
Mr. Musk also suggested Crimea, a region Russia annexed from Ukraine, rightfully belonged to Moscow. “F— off is my very diplomatic reply to you,” Ukrainian diplomat Andrij Melnyk responded on Twitter. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also pushed back on Twitter.

Mr. Musk continued on Saturday, tweeting: “The hell with it…even though Starlink is still losing money & other companies are getting billions of taxpayer $, we’ll just keep funding Ukraine govt for free.” …
Mr. Musk didn’t provide further details in his tweet. The Financial Times reported that he told the newspaper he planned to keep paying for the Starlink service in Ukraine indefinitely.

Parler CEO George Farmer appeared on Fox Business News to celebrate Kanye West’s acquisition of his right-wing social media platform, while defending the rapper by saying that he’s “fallen victim to the cancellation narrative”.
“He’s obviously wanting to have a conversation that plenty of people want to have and I think that he is trying to engage in the free speech environment,” said the app chief executive and husband of Candace Owens. “But I would like to say that he’s in a place where he’s fallen victim to the cancellation narrative.”
