What I do mean is a question that is likely to get you to think, to be creative, and to provoke a response. Hopefully a positive response.
Welcome once again to Fandango’s Provocative Question. Each week I will pose what I think is a provocative question for your consideration.
By provocative, I don’t mean a question that will cause annoyance or anger. Nor do I mean a question intended to arouse sexual desire or interest.
These are scary times. The geopolitical world is going through significant upheavals and certain things we once took for granted, such as democracy or representative government, health, safety, a hospitable climate, clean water and air, and human rights, seem to no longer be assured.
Given this, my question this week is a broad one that asks:
What do you think is the scariest thing that humankind has ever created?
If you choose to participate, write a post with your response to the question. Once you are done, tag your post with #FPQ and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments. But remember to check to confirm that your pingback or your link shows up in the comments.

Each other. I’ve heard mankind referred to as ‘the cockroaches of the Universe” and sadly I find that very accurate. We breed ourselves out of existence, we cause huge messes which nobody wants to clean up, we’re a filthy animal who doesn’t mind a little 💩 as garnish with whatever garbage we’re feasting on today. It’s far more horrifying than anything dreamt up IMO. We lead slothful lives and frankly we’re a waste of resources (most of us). If someone hadn’t boinked somebody else at the beginning, that life might have seemed boring but at least maybe there’d be a few with common sense, a sense of decency, kindness and concern for others. Maybe you can tell…I’m not currently enchanted with our species and I think fewer and fewer are.

Well, I think I species is on the way to self-annihilation in the mot too distant future.

Sorry I’m so late with this. I have not been feeling well and by the latter part of the evening, I’m too tired to do any more. But I got you today (finally).

Oh, I don’t want to say it…but I’m gonna, lol. Religion. But then if it wasn’t religion, it’d just be something else.

that is definitely a tough question! I don’t have a definitive answer! There are too many things to choose from!

There are so many things that are scary… but truly man made, I would have to go with nuclear bombs. (and polluting factories, and plastic and chemical warfare and and and…)
