Melanie is back hosting her Share Your World prompt. Thanks to Di for filling in so ably while Melanie was recuperating, but it’s nice to have Melanie feeling better and back at the helm.
What is your favorite horror or Halloween-themed song? Or a song you rarely hear except around a holiday.
Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?
Of course I do. It could be people, my dog, cars if I’m driving, whatever. Never ghosts or apparitions, though.
Which urban legend scares you the most? (most countries have such stories – share yours if you would like to).
It’s the hook. It’s about a young couple making out in a car parked in a remote area. The radio is playing and a news bulletin reports that a serial killer with a hook for a hand has just escaped from a nearby institution. They decide to quickly leave to the place they’re parked at, but when they get back to the girl’s house, the killer’s hook is found hanging from the door handle.
You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?
Because I’m hard of hearing, I have the TV volume up so loud that I don’t hear the footsteps. Thus, I ignore them.
