It’s September 21, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “elementary.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

The elementary things of life are food, water, clothing and shelter.
Others are education, good health care, job, security.
While these things are important, but some government of the day has not been able to properly make these things easily available and accessible for their citizenry.

I’ve made an appreciation of having gone to three schools on an “elementary” level (or four if you count junior-high-age years); I’m counting preschool, and I didn’t go to kindergarten. There is a range of variety I witnessed via my experience then (followed up by high school [plus knowledge of how some other schools worked for ninth thru twelfth grades] and, of course, college). I have some happy and wonderfully positive memories (one being working with copper in fourth grade), yet I generally didn’t care about going to these places day after day. I decided, upon becoming a parent, that I would be a home educator.
