FOWC with Fandango — Selection

FOWC

It’s September 4, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “selection.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

I think you got it. But if your erection lasts for more than four hours, call your handyman immediately.

Now why would you think this when I was referring to erecting a garden shed? I haven’t forgotten yours is a family -friendly site. Can’t upset the kiddies…….

Having an option is always easier when you have a collection of jewelries. But the process of selection when you are in a state of expedition can land you in a state of confusion.

    I’d like an excellent selection,
… an eclectic and diverse mixture,
    A full-bodied collection,
    Of magical elixirs,
That could perhaps solve the riddle,
…of why that as we age,
That to pee is now merely a piddle?
And sleeping all night is no longer the rage,
Yet, whilst our bodies become weary,
… and start to reek of disconnection,
    What gives with the eerie,
    Continuance of the morning erection?
That seemingly imagines itself fit and always ready,
    … never mind,
The body which is sorely lagging behind,
… the morning muscle is never unsteady!

Ron DeSantis’ selection of who to blame and humiliate is corrupt, authoritarian, unfair, cruel and intimidating, and Republican.

Face [or should turn around and bite him]
