FOWC with Fandango — Waver

It’s July 7, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “waver.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

I’ve been going to and fro to get a flicker of an idea to comment. I began to feel shaky and vacillate between ideas. In the end I could only come up with this Fandango 🙂

(Yep) he raised his arm up
    To (yep) waver bye bye
And she in turn did likewise
    To (yep) wavim bye bye

Sigh. What a nice parting Fan…….

Waver and wavim – from my dictionary……….

    my way or the highway

    he would never waver
    on anything
    his word was law
it was the way it was
    we were supposed to rebel
    but we didn’t
we knew what side our bread
    was buttered on and besides
    he was almost always right
it just didn’t seem like that always at the time
