I like my eggs over easy
I don’t like my eggs sunny side up
I abhor runny, slimy, snotty eggs
If someone serves them that way
I will immediately refuse to eat them
Even if a confrontation arises
It’s irrelevant to me that others
Like their eggs sunny side up
It’s a reflection of their poor taste
I like my eggs over easy

Over easy is the best, but it’s the hardest for restaurants to get right.

I cooked that way because my husband liked them but they gave me the creeps. I couldn’t even stand to watch him eat them.

Over easy is my favorite, as well. I doubt I’d act like the guy (Jack Nicholson) in Anger Management about it, though. However, a person is within rights to reject getting it wrong (if there’s slimy stuff). Then, again, I’ve eaten slimy eggs that I’ve cooked (at home). What I do think is perhaps a fireable offense is when omelets are consistently done slimy. Is that harsh?

I like my omelets soft, but not slimy!

So, no sunny side up? What about scrambled with melted cheese?

Scrambled with diced tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and melted cheese is delightful!
