FOWC with Fandango — Carpet

FOWC

It’s March 21, 2022. Welcome to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).

Today’s word is “carpet.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. Show them some love.

    ODE TO THE LITTLE CARPET

    I am a little carpet
    Lying on the floor
    In a prime position
    By the front front door

    Isn’t that nice Fan?……

Mm, the word of the day is carpet!
… thinking on the go my response is Tarpit!
    Although also close is Muppet!
…. but not really as it only just touches it!
But carpet ends with ET ..
    … and not IT,
So Tarpit, Muppet and touches It,
… are not that clear cut!
    BUT,
Carpet is an ET, not an IT and not even an UT!
    So how do l put,
    Carpet back into the frame?
… because the ET is the game,
Not the IT or the UT, or an AT or even an OT!
MM, the word of the day is Carpet,
Ooh there is of course ‘market’ or target!
I know .. you could have a target of buying a carpet in the market”
