Stocks fell by nearly 800 points today, following four straight weeks of declines, as investors grew increasingly concerned that higher energy prices stemming from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine would slow the economy while raising inflation.
Damn, with most of my retirement funds in 401(k) and individual retirement accounts (IRAs), where the bulk of the money is invested in stocks and bonds, it may be time to pull my money out of the stock market and hide it all in my mattress.

All the more reason for our politicians to grow a set and put the mad dog down. On a positive note it’s a good time to buy in, well maybe not quite but soon.

I agree that we need to do more that just sanctions. That didn’t work on Crimea, so why would it work this time? And, yes. Buy low, sell high, as they say.

Oh wow! That is absolutely treacherous… I didn’t even want to click on “Like” because that is nothing to like at all. I don’t know how the world is going to come back from this honestly. In WWI and WWII and the other wars, they sold those bonds to pay for the war, but we aren’t even in it and going bankrupt. This is bad bad bad.
