Choir Practice

People, please,” Miss Dillon, the choir teacher shouted. “I feel liking I’m being barraged by a flotilla of nasty, discordant voices. Where are the sweet, mellow tones of harmony that you are noted for? Listening to this rehearsal today makes me feel as if you’ve reached the bottom rung of the harmonic ladder. Now let’s get our act together and croon away like I know you can.”

This takes me back to my days as a school music teacher. I had a little choir which had a couple of tone deaf members. I hadn’t got the heart to turn them away, so just asked them to not sing quite so loudly. 😅
