The Nature of Your Game

You brag to us all that you’re a man of wealth, taste, and fame. You want us to relate to you, to show you courtesy and even a little sympathy. But we know who you really are we know the nature of your game.

We’ve never been, like you are, a member of the hoity-toity class. We don’t live in a large mansion by the sea with posh furnishings throughout, like you do. Our standard response to the accomplishments of others is not to diminish them, as you do, when you try to vault yourself over everyone and everything in order to feed your unquenchable ego.

When we call you out, your response to what we say to you is to tell us that you’re just misunderstood. You claim to be an everyman of simple pleasures, just like those whose souls you’ve stolen along the way in your rise to power.

Well, if that’s the case, prove it to us. Renounce your narcissistic ways. Give us a recital of your evil deeds and wrongdoings, and face the punishment that is your due. Better still, just go away and leave us alone so that we can attempt to heal and put back together what you have torn asunder.

Because we know who you really are we know the nature of your game.

Ha! DT makes an incognito appearance here. I hope he goes away and leave you all in peace. And take his sycophant followers with him.
