For her weekly Blogging Insights prompts, Dr. Tanya provides us with a quote about blogging or writing and asks us to express our opinion about said quote. However, this week she is interested in finding out if we are planning any changes to our blog. Specifically, she’s asking us to…
…share our HOPES for our blog in 2022 as well as our REGRETS (if any).
Actually, I’m pretty happy with my blog the way it is, and my philosophy is, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” So I have no specific hopes for my blog other than to continue blogging.
That said, let me ask you all a question. You may answer from the perspectives of appearance, content, frequency, or whatever occurs to you. So here’s my question.
What changes, if any, would you encourage me to make to my blog in 2022 in order for you to have a better experience reading my posts?
Thanks for your feedback.
I agree with your perspective. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

I would like all your posts to appear in my feed so I don’t have to hunt them down! 😀

Hmm. Not sure I can do anything about that. Sounds like a WP problem.

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” is my philosophy too. Your blog is fine as it is and you are happy with it so I wouldn’t change. You have a mixture of content that suits many readers.

Your blog is great. I don’t think I am a great source of advice on blogging – just doing my own thing in the little spare time I have over here. I will say, if all of your posts were political….I would have given up long ago, so yes, please do keep the balance of subjects and styles that you have. I love your flash fiction and personal posts.

Thanks, Mel. I hope there will be less cause for my political rants in 2022.

❤ I really hope so! ❤
But it is all hotting up over on the Ukraine border. There will be a lot of words said and people will have strong feelings….and keeping one's cool has probably never been as important.

Your blog is super as it is.
Your FPQ has always been my favourite.
Though from a purely selfish point of view, I wold like to see less of Americanv politics related posts and more pertaining to the world j general.

I am hoping to reduce my number of political posts this year, assuming that some semblance of normalcy returns and unless something outrageous happens. As to a more globally oriented perspective, politically speaking, that’s probably a little outside of my comfort zone. But I hope my non-political flash fiction posts have a more universal appeal.
