Fibbing Friday — Signs of the Times

Frank (aka PCGuy) and Di (aka Pensitivity101) alternate as hosts for Fibbing Friday, a silly little exercise where we are to write a post with our answers to the ten questions below. But as the title suggests, truth is not an option. The idea is to fib a little, a lot, tell whoppers, be inventive, silly, or even outrageous, in our responses. Today is Di’s turn to host and she has given us common road signs and wants us to tell her what they mean.

Crooked Arrow Casino ahead.

Turn right…no, better yet, turn left…ahead.

Gravediggers ahead.

Bottleneck ahead.

Kidnapper ahead.

Flash mob ahead.

Road pillows ahead.

Quiet zone ahead. No loud or violent arguments permitted.

Inflation ahead.

Giant piano keyboard ahead.

I honestly think we might be at the end of our civilization. People are holding court online where they can’t see the evidence. Then web services and email servers act up so the evidence can’t be sent that way either. There’s your sign.

Very clever! I’m afraid I didn’t ‘get’ it and so my own post is sort of a turn in the road..

Love Flash Mob Ahead, but what does it really mean?

    • Fandango December 11, 2021 / 10:25 am

A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment, satire, and artistic expression.
