Fandango’s Provocative Question #147

Welcome once again to Fandango’s Provocative Question. Each week I will pose what I think is a provocative question for your consideration.

By provocative, I don’t mean a question that will cause annoyance or anger. Nor do I mean a question intended to arouse sexual desire or interest.

What I do mean is a question that is likely to get you to think, to be creative, and to provoke a response. Hopefully a positive response.

I know that, with the way things are in the world and in my country these days, I’ve been feeling disheartened, disappointed, disillusioned, frustrated, and even angry. I sense that there are quite a few others who may be feeling, for reasons of their own, the same way.

So I thought I’d ask a question that might help you focus on the good and the positive aspects of your life. My provocative question this week is…

What’s the best thing you’ve got going on in your life at the moment?

If you choose to participate, write a post with your response to the question. Once you are done, tag your post with #FPQ and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments. But remember to check to confirm that your pingback or your link shows up in the comments.

The charities I work with have been busy cracking on with projects that were postponed during Pandemic. We still have a lot of restrictions in place to look after our volunteers, but there is a lot of enthusiasm and it feels great to see.
Paid work is tough. I am finding it more and more exhausting and stressful. Jack is trying to help me shake it off, but I will be glad when winter is over.

My writing. I can lose myself in the reality I create and forget about the issues I don’t want to face.

My sons and two significant others (and, more or less, an adopted son in one of those situations, although I’ve not met him… good for my son’s sake and the kid’s sake) and my significant other. Plus, more specific to right now, meaningful evidence.

This is a very good question, very positive because you start looking for the best thing going on one’s life and start counting your blessings.
