E.M.’s Sunday Ramble Prompt #1

E.M. Kingston has started a new weekly prompt called The Sunday Ramble. It is based upon a certain topic. She asks five questions about that topic, that we can ramble on however we wish. Today’s topic is:

Would you rather be alone or be in a large group of people?

Thanks to COVID, I’ve gotten so used to being alone (with my wife), that I just don’t feel comfortable anymore being in a large group of people. Or safe, either.

Would you rather live on the beach or live in the mountains?

I go back and forth on this one. I wouldn’t mind either, but perhaps the best of both worlds would be to have a place in the coastal mountains with an ocean view.

Would you rather tell people how you feel or keep your feelings to yourself?

I hate it when people ask me how I feel about something, at least in the real world. I’d rather keep my feelings to myself. Well, except here on my blog, where I let it all hang out.

Would you rather be filthy rich or just live comfortably?

I would love to be filthy rich, but that probably comes with too many problems and too many people who hate you for being filthy rich. So I’m going to go with living comfortably.

Would you rather watch a new movie at home or at the theater?

Again, thanks to COVID, it’s been almost two years since I’ve been to a movie theater to see a movie. And because, as I said in my first answer, I have no desire to be in a large group of people, I’d rather watch a new movie (or an old one) in the comfort of my home.

Hey Fandango! Thanks for Rambling with me this beautiful Sunday! You were the first one, and you brought a few friends to my prompt! I loved the answer about the mountains on the coast. That sounds like heaven on Earth to me. I am not a very out and about social person either, and I too keep to myself for the most part until I get on here. My daughter hears all my woes lol. When people ask us how we feel, I don’t think they want to know the truth. lol. Usually, they just ask to ask. Great answers! I am so glad you joined us!

COVID has certainly changed how we act. What was once instinctual, is now considered carefully

For years I kept quiet about my feelings and it really caused problems. I now try to maintain a balance with sharing and staying quiet. Some things you have to say or lose your chance though, the tricky part is know when those times are. Good answers Fandango!
