Welcome to November 12, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “cavalier.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.
ODE TO CAVALIER
My sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Keeps lowering his bottom to the floor
Then turns around sniffs where he’s sitten
And shrugs and just walks out the door
Is he trying to tell me something?….

Owner desperate……

Oh dear, oh dear and another oh dear!
What is there that can rhyme with cavalier?
.. as hard as l muster,
……… to not act like Custer,
All l can think of is Frontier!
Yet, does that also not appear,
…… with the commander who did so try to adhere,
To the guidelines of the buccaneer…
….with the audacious bandolier?
