Welcome to November 3, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (U.S.).
Today’s word is “knot.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

Every night for quite a while, a piece of string used to go to a bar to unwind. On the first night, the barman, not used to pieces of sting seemingly float into the bar, asked the piece of string his name for a bit of conversation. The piece of string said his name was Peter. So began one of those bar staff and pieces of string that hang at the bar kind of relationship.
One night, in through the doors floated in a piece of string – hair all out and over the place, a bit of a twist or two – really looked a mess. The barman looked and blinked as the piece of string came closer and he stammered out P….P….P.Peter?
The piece of string looked at the barman and said “Frayed Knot.”
