#WDYS — Living the Nomadic Life

You said you didn’t want to settle in just one place, that you wanted to live the nomadic lifestyle, that we’d be spending time on the road, traveling from here to there like flotsam and jetsam on the seas, floating whichever way the tides took us.

That sounded exciting to me. But when I agreed to go with you, it simply never occurred to me that you meant literally floating through the air on thick chunk of land and living in a permanent house as if we were on some sort of surreal, giant magic carpet ride.

This is just a little too weird for me. I think I’ll pass and go back to college and finish working on my degree in philosophy.

Yes, studying the weird philosophy of Absurdism makes more sense than floating on a chunk of dirt. Good choice……

Have you seen the guy played by Lin-Manuel Miranda who floats around within a basket under a large balloon in The Golden Compass? I love it.

It does sound off, and probably dangerous too. Thanks for joining in with this fun story Fandango.

Haha. That’s a good one. And the decision will work out better. 🙂

I too thought of Howl’s Moving Castle. Good take on the prompt, a little bit too much adventure for him, huh?
