Welcome to August 3, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.
I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).
Today’s word is “oblivious.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

You two just keep me grinning. And I finally updated my OS so I can comment; haven’t been oblivious by any means to your wordplay!

I loved it when a girl showing off on her mobile phone was totally oblivious to the stacked tinned display and walked straight into it.

I sometimes wonder, if life would be so much smoother,
…. if l was oblivious to the thoughts of others?
Could l become more of a soother,
In words instead of trying to gratify the upset numbers,
… of those who believe l should be more aware…
I know not,
… but is it my job to know such things or the affairs,
Or am l to move on blissfully, like l simply forgot?

Sometimes being oblivious can bring peace of mind.

Yes l totally agree with you, blissfully ignorant – apparently however, it is not seen as the answer …. oh well, worth a shot.
