I’ve hit that age. But then again, for 15 months, 2 year olds hit that age too. So are we really so creaky? I know I am.
The funny thing is this reminded my of my grandfather. Many, MANY years ago, he wrote lyrics to a song with my mom, “Achy Breaky Back!” It was to the tune of Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Achy Breaky Heart”. I haven’t thought of that song in nearly 2 decades! Thank you for reminding me!
Of course, I will be furious tonight when I’m still humming it, but for right now, it’s perfection. Thank you!

Well, I have to laugh at this because I just came back from the chiropractor. Yeah, age and backs aren’t always friendly to one another.

Loved Phyllis Diller! She was hilarious and a very kind person. She gave me her fur coat for a charity auction and my boyfriend bid and bought it as a Xmas present for my mother, thereby winning her heart. It was a strangely textured fur, blond in color with a huge satin bow at the neck. My mother wore it for Halloween that year.

She was hilarious. And that’s a great story about the fur coat. Very cool.

I remember planning to try and mimic Phyllis Diller for a baby sitter when I was maybe ten. I did it, but it didn’t land the same way as when Phyllis did her thing.

I am looking forward to my pool therapy session tomorrow when I can decompress my back.
