#1MinFiction — Empty or Full

Is there anything more depressing than a bulletin board full of push pins with no notes attached? An empty bulletin board is like an empty soul.

On the other hand, perhaps it’s a sign of accomplishment in that all tasks have been achieved and it’s time to relax and enjoy.

I suppose it depends on whether you’re the half empty or half full kind of a person.

Written for Cyranny’s One Minute Fiction prompt, where the idea is to manage to type your whole story in a minute or less.

If there are push pins and nothing there, there’s plenty of room to hang new accomplishments. Not tasks

I like to interpret it as an accomplishment when all the tasks are completed

Better push pins on an empty corkboard than one covered in 230 post-it notes!

Who puts the pins back where they were, instead of retiring them to the bottom of the board?
They do look a bit menacing…

A wonderful look at an image from two viewpoints. Good point. [pun intended] 😀

Never really thought about it, but pins should be moved to the bottom or top when not in use. I could always be in transition… one goal accomplished and setting new goals.
