FOWC with Fandango — Lucid

FOWCWelcome to May 25, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “lucid.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

This young lady would like to make the U.N. more lucid and effective. At three minutes in, she’s talking about how the leaders, now, are supposed to be famous and powerful or rich people. I got concerned when she said something along the lines of private people or businesses possibly being key but then tracked back to mentioning, in complaint, Ronald Reagan and how we’ve spent so much time with “trickle-down” (which, itself, has involved privatization and led to this situation). So, then I was suspecting she might be backed by someone like Bill Gates. But she cleared that up at ten minutes and then eleven minutes in.
