FOWC with Fandango — Vestige

FOWCWelcome to March 19, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “vestige.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

I wonder how long my comment will last before becoming a vestige in time and space 🙂

I’m sure you saw this, tonight, Fandango. So excellent.

Joe Manchin shouldn’t be trusted with any gun legislation [powerful use of “vestigial” at 6:33].

This is the beginning of the article; I meant to share a correction (of a mistake that understandably happens many places): MSNBC host Rachel Maddow hammered Sen. Joe Manchin (R-WV) [Sic.] for saying that he could pass meaningful gun legislation after failing to do so the last time he promised he could do it. [He’s a D, not a Republican.]

A whopping 90 percent of Americans support background checks on all gun sales, but Sen. Manchin refused to support it this week, despite some House Republicans voting to support the legislation. It puts Manchin to the right of House Republicans and far outside of the mainstream of Americans.
