FOWC with Fandango — Direction

FOWCWelcome to March 14, 2021 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “direction.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Please check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

We are getting very good at changing direction on our walks to avoid people and crowds. We might get a few odd looks, but to be honest, as we’re walking away, we don’t really care!

Oprah Upends the British Empire | Pod Save the World (tongue-in-cheek podcast series name)

Although they used this tag about Oprah, I’m sharing the link because of the 36:45 through 39:45 segment about an identified Russian disinformation campaign the poo-poo the vaccines we’re using (and elevate the Sputnik/Russian vaccine).

Oops. I meant to put that under who won the week to be on-topic. Well, the topic came up in this column too anyway though. Let’s see… I wonder whose direction people will want to take, our scientists’ or Putin’s.

I think I heard about that Russian vaccine disinformation campaign on Rachel Maddow’s show. Or maybe Nicolle Wallace.
