MLMM Tale Weaver — Dry Skin

My skin can get very dry and itchy. How dry and itchy can my skin get? Well, the skin on my elbows, knees, and heels can become cracked and flaky and sometimes actually bleed. That’s how dry my skin can get.So every day, immediately after I step out of the shower and dry myself off, I slather a boatload of Jergens Ultra Healing body lotion all over my body — literally from head to toe. And now my skin is soft and supple.

It’s a good thing I’ve never suffered from poison ivy, though, because if I had, no doubt it would have taken an ocean of calamine lotion to relieve the itch.

Written for the Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Tale Weaver prompt, where the challenge is to write about “lotion.”

Your lotion could easily have served as one of your selections for your love, in the month of February.

Meanwhile, it is amazing that you’ve never suffered from poison ivy. My father-in-law never has.

Between the winter dry air and having to hand wash dishes… my hands are constantly needing lotion.
