The former President came back from his day at his golf course with a noticeable limp. One of his aides asked him what happened and Trump explained that he drove a ball into the rough and got so angry that he kicked a tree trunk and broke his toe. “But don’t you tell anyone about that,” Trump said. “If you snitch on me to the press I will have to fire you.”

“Unfortunately,” the aide told one of the other aides later, “this is the price you pay when you work for someone with a personality that is off the scale in insanity and narcissism. He’s a total gabble-ratchet and should be sent to a funny farm for the rest of his life.”

“Yeah,” said the other aide, “but I think they should send him to Sing Sing Prison, up where he belongs.”

      Thanks, Jim. I know my response to your prompt wasn’t musical, but as soon as I saw “up where we belong,” that’s where my Trump-weary brain took me.

        This is an open challenge and music is not a requirement, and as far as I am concerned, I will take what ever I can get, as this may be the least popular challenge on WordPress. you did great and I am happy that you considered writing in my challenge.

    Gobble-ratchet?? I’ve never heard this term, but now I will look it up. Thank you for the story – it fits my Facebook challenge to decide where Trump should go after he left office!

    Sounds like that orange dick-trator… Great way to weave in the Word Of the Day too! Because that orange twerp was the biggest ‘gobble-ratchet of all freakin’ time.

      I realized after I posted it that it should have been GABBLE-ratchet, and I have since corrected my post. Of course, I blame autocorrect.

    I watched the gobble-ratchet take off in the helicopter so happy to see him go up anywhere but the White House. Breathing a sigh of relief 😅

      Yes, it is difficult to forget a Great President, now we are stuck with RESIDENT Biden.

          You mean like a great economy, hope for the innocent babies, kept us out of war. Enjoy the continued riots and illegals entering California climb private fences to take, take and take

          I wonder how you will cope when retirement funds disappear, and one can no longer express their free speech, what goes around, comes around. Let me know your secrets/ideas, please share with others.

          One positive about this selection are more people are turning to God for hope, and that alone is worth the steal.

          Thank you for your polite replies although we don’t agree.

          People complain about DT’s personality, do what I do, don’t invite him to your house for dinner; during his next term! Sooner than later!

            Hmm. Didn’t he initiate separating innocent, living, breathing babies from their parents at the border? Oh wait, they weren’t white babies, so that was okay. Your favorite President, Myrna, will go down in history as the worst President America ever had.
