#100WW — Head in the Clouds

“Fred, what are you doing sprawled out on the ground staring off into space?” Tony asked.

“Fred nonchalantly greeted his coworker. “I had to come out here and chill for a while. Our manager is driving me crazy. I can’t deal with his trite motivational platitudes anymore.”

“Well, you’d better get your head out of the clouds,” Tony said. “The boss has been looking for you and sent me out to find you. He’s not a happy camper.”

“Just tell him you couldn’t find me. I have a really negative visceral reaction to that guy. I’ll go find him later.”

I think his view over here is much better than the one of his angry boss.

I did pretty good with managers until Deb… she was a real piece of work.
