Donald Trump is urging those who are “inclined to vote for him” to vote for him twice, once by mail and once in person. Voting twice in the same election (i.e., voter fraud) is illegal and it’s a felony to do so or to induce others to do so.
So Donald Trump, the President of the United States, by encouraging his supporters to commit voter fraud by voting twice, is himself committing a felony.
You can’t make this shit up, folks. Donald Trump is committing felony right in front of all of us. The man should be removed from office immediately and be prohibited from running for re-election. Period.
Has he said that publicly? 😲 Cos my goodness, if there is evidence to have him for that, then he needs to be removed immediately!

Yes, very publicly. He’s a felon.

Oh my goodness. He wants getting rid of and surely now they can with him asking people to do this.

Surely he should be prosecuted first? In that respect, is he not just A. N. Other citizen?

You can’t prosecute a sitting president. That’s why we pray he will not win in November because then New York will go after him for all the fraud and tax evasion and whatever else. They have been building their case for some time.

Presumably they can wait if he wins? Is there some kind of statute of limitations comes into play?

Well we are hoping that there will be no waiting!

Unfortunately there is. I’m not sure what it is, though, in the case of voter fraud.

I just Googled it. It’s five years.

gosh, is that just me, or does that seem like not a very long? The big limitations here are tax records, 7 years, but I’m not aware of any others.

Nope. As President, he is unlike any other citizen. He can’t be arrested and prosecuted while in office. Only impeached, found guilty, and removed from office. But his Republican cronies in Congress won’t let that happen.

The idea that a sitting president can’t be prosecuted is an internal memo or opinion from within the Justice Department, an artifact of the Nixon administration. Enough people still think it does, in fact, make good sense. But it isn’t spelled out in actual “law.”

Thanks, Marleen. So I guess it would need someone to test it. On the face of it, you’d think that “the law treats everybody equally, regardless of status” is something we should aim for. I’d like to see that here (but we don’t realy have it).

Every day he opens his mouth and what falls out should be enough for any intelligent person to see and hear he is an idiot.
