Today’s theme is “your favorite beverage.” Are you going to choose an alcoholic beverage like a mixed drink, beer, hard lemonade, flavored vodka, or something like that? A hot drink like coffee or tea? Soda, water, or a milkshake? Share a story, a poem, a photo, a drawing, some music, or whatever you wish to share about your favorite beverage (or beverages).

If you wish to participate, please write your post, use the tag #FDDA, and create a pingback to this post or manually add your link in the comments.

Mine’s tea Fandango, though I don’t mind a latte coffee with a slice of cake or maybe a Calypso coffee after a nice meal.

I didn’t know what a Calypso coffee was but after googling the recipe I think I may give that a try!

My favorite beverage, before they stopped selling it, was Rain — a clear-as-water agave cactus energy drink in a line of four flavors, called Elements (the others included Fire and Earth and another and were not clear in color). I would buy it again, now, but I buy Mexican Coca Cola instead… readily available. I drink that occasionally, as a treat.

When I bought Rain, it was in a metal, seemingly insulated (or double-layered) bottle (or can in a bottle shape) with a screw-off lid. I’ve seen pictures of it having been sold in clear glass bottles, too.

What I drink every day, and like very much, is coffee (not black) as well as water (fizzy via SodaStream in addition to plain, either filtered or from the tap).

I wish I knew. Or, more than that, I wish they still would sell it. It simply was no longer available. I drank it somewhere around 2009/10ish, maybe; perhaps earlier. Something like a year after I couldn’t find it, I contacted the company to see if I could buy it in cases. They didn’t give me any reason, just said they don’t make it any more.
