#100WW — Two Old Friends

FF4191F4-FEC4-43A4-B68F-388B6A13C811“You’re a complex man, Harry,” Stanley said as the two old friends slowly walked across the bridge that separated the two sides of the city.

“Are you being facetious?” Harry asked. “If so, I don’t appreciate it one bit.”

“Harry,” Stanley said, “You’re always such a wet blanket. It’s a beautiful day, we’re in an interesting part of the world, and all you do is complain. Can’t you just go with the flow?”

“Maybe it’s not the flow that’s the problem,” Harry said.

What do you mean by that, Harry?” Stanley asked.

Draw your own conclusions, Stanley. You always do.”

Written for this week’s 100 Word Wednesday prompt from Bikurgurl. Also for these daily prompts: The Daily Spur (complex), Fandango’s One-World Challenge (facetious), Word of the Day (blanket), and Jibber Jabber (draw).
