143D0F18-0272-4573-9BE5-72D77940F6AFI wanted to satisfy my natural curiosity
About what it would be like
To soar like a seagull
High above the surf
What a great escapade it would be

And so I found a suitable locale
On top of the cliffs high above
The ocean down below

I opened my big umbrella
And jumped off the cliff
It was a dream come true
I felt just like Mary Poppins
Gently floating toward the ground

Until my big umbrella inverted
And I started rapidly falling
Turning my dream into a nightmare

Oh, dear — oops! What a wonderful dream — until it wasn’t!

I was listening to a story, recently, of a young lawyer who got to be the main counsel (maybe it’s called head counsel or I don’t know what) in a BIG class-action case. Whoever had BEEN in charge was kite sailing and crashed. Oops.

    No one died.
