One-Liner Wednesday — Unplug

“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.”

Anne Lamont, American novelist and progressive political activist

I would love to take Ms. Lamont’s advise and unplug for a while, but I’m afraid that, with all that’s going on, if I didn’t have my blog as an outlet, my head would probably explode.D321FBBC-3273-448C-AEEF-88E64267C18AWritten for today’s One-Liner Wednesday prompt from Linda G. Hill.

So true. Personally, I know I need to unplug from social media for a bit, but the struggle is real when I need it for work.

Unplug from your past and live in the present 🙂

Yes, I feel like if I had no internet or electronic devices, I would not be able to sufficiently cope with everything going on in real life! Maybe that’s sad, but unplugging sounds scary these days.

Yes, that’s why I can’t get myself to do it.

I think I could handle unplugging everything but my radio… I can still write with pen and paper, I wouldn’t miss much on TV, it would be a struggle not to be in contact with friends but I can’t handle silence so I have to at least have music. Good quote!
