I have been honored by being tagged for not one, but two TOOBAs, aka The Original Outstanding Blogger Award. One tag is from Sadje at Keep It Alive and the other is from Rory at A Guy Called Bloke.
As with any blog award there are rules. I’m supposed to
-
- Provide the link to the creator’s original award post.
- Answer the questions provided.
- Create 7 unique questions.
- Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.
Alrighty then. Before I follow those rules, I want to thank Sadje and Rory for thinking of me and my blog and tagging me. I’ll also link to the creator of this award’s original post. And I will answer Sadje’s and Rory’s questions. But I will not create seven of my own questions, nor will I nominate ten other bloggers. I will nominate every other blogger to answer Sadje’s and Rory’s questions.
And with that, let’s get to the Q&A. Here are Sadje’s questions.
Which is your favorite dish to cook?
Whatever dish my wife cooks.
What new skills you have acquired in last three months?
Finding shows on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime to binge-watch.
What scares you the most, (person or thing)?
It’s a tie. (1) Donald Trump, and (2) everyone who enables and supports him.
Are you able to fix technical problems on you devices?
Sure. Turn them off and back on again and hope for the best.
What is your preferred way of traveling?
Reading historic fiction or science fiction.
If you are asked to donate one of your five senses, which one would you choose?
It seems that I have inadvertently and unintentionally “donated” my sense of taste, which is not anything I’d recommend giving up. So since I only have four senses left, my job here is done.
How do you like to dress, trendy or comfy?
Comfy, duh!
And here are Rory’s questions.
Did you live an adventurous young adult life as in between your later teens to you early thirties and if you did what was your life style like? If you didn’t, what was your lifestyle like?
I have always been a rather easy-going soul, but I have to admit that between my late teens and early thirties, I did sew a lot of wild oats. And then I met and married my wife, who quickly pruned whatever wild oats I had left.
What was the riskiest date you ever went on and why?
When I went asked out a girl who was dating the leader of a motorcycle gang. Suffice it to say, it didn’t turn out well for me.
How big a child are you still?
I consider myself to be the Peter Pan of the Medicare generation.
What will you simply not do for money OR is that question easier to answer favorably reflective upon the sum of actual money offered?
As Meatloaf once sang, I would do anything for money, but I won’t do that!
Congratulations!

Please note that the award’s official title is actually just the Outstanding Blogger Award; the “Original” part came from the title of the post. So, I guess the proper term would be TOBA ?
