“We’ve only been seeing each other for a month,” Donna said, “so I was hesitant to spend a weekend with you at your mountain retreat. But seeing the full moon framed by the fir trees in the early evening sky, I can understand why you wanted to bring me here. It’s so romantic.”
Donna turned around to kiss Michael, but instead pulled a pistol from her handbag and shot him four times with silver bullets.
“Dammit,” she said, staring down at his dead body. “Why do the best looking guys end up becoming werewolves at that time of the month?”

Oh this is excellent!! I love the sweet surrender turning to unexpected violence – your twisty endings are perfection!
Thank you for joining us again…
I apologize for my tardiness and look forward to catching up here — I’ve been so distracted and distraught, I’ve focused more on reading, educating myself, mindful reflections, and quick hits of info on Twitter and Instagram than on my beloved blog. Please forgive me – I’m diving back into the fray 🖤
