In a statement on February 26th, Donald Trump said, “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”
On February 28th Trump said that coronavirus will “disappear” like a “miracle.” In late February, he speculated that warm weather would kill the virus and stop its spread.
He recently told reporters, “It will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away. Be calm. It’s really working out. And a lot of good things are going to happen. The consumer is ready, and the consumer is so powerful in our country with what we’ve done with tax cuts and regulation cuts and all of those things. The consumer has never been in a better position than they are right now. So a lot of good things are going to happen.”

Shelter in place? Stay Home? No Gatherings? So everything is pretty much shut down in America, or at least in my part of America.
But it is reassuring to hear from our President that he’s done such a good job and that “a lot of good things are going to happen.”

The “like” button isn’t working. Not yours, not mind. They did an upgrade yesterday to Win10, so that’s probably why. I assume it’ll get fixed eventually. Or maybe they are removing it.
Trump was a bit more somber this morning, but (a) I don’t believe he actually took a test so for all I know he’s busy passing it around among his party favorites. This might be a good thing. (b) At the end of announcing no more than 10 people in a group and even family gatherings might not be a good idea, he gave himself a 10 out of 10 in how well he has done in managing the epidemic.

I thought it was interesting Cuomo (New York), apparently referring to a sense of stress, said a person looking at the situation will sweat and develop a rash — and be right.

But those words have an effect on people, that’s the weird thing.We had a news clip on here a couple days ago on pensioners playing tennis in a Fl retirement community. “I love him. I love how strong he is despite everything that gets thrown at him.” It’s dumb – the words might not make sense but just his conviction wins them over.

Yup, the trouble is that somebody like that will cancel out Fandango’s (or maybe your) vote. I don’t know what anybody can say to these people that will change their minds. Maybe have Mr Die Hard, or Rocky, run against him? That seems to be the level we’re aiming at!

Its very sad in my opinion that such a person is adored. You see I interviews with people that are pretty s ary saying, the virus is made up, they love what he’s saying. And of course these people vote, and that’s how he hit elected in the first place. The what I call ignorance for facts and blind following for an issue like gun control is scary. His own macho ignorance is killing a lot of people here in US.
