It’s time for another Who Won the Week prompt. The idea behind Who Won the Week is for you to select who you think “won” this past week. Your selection can be anyone or anything — politicians, celebrities, athletes, authors, bloggers, your friends or family members, books, movies, TV shows, businesses, organizations, whatever.
I will be posting this prompt on Sunday mornings (my time). If you want to participate, write your own post designating who you think won the week and why you think they deserve your nod. Then link back to this post and tag you post with FWWTW.
This week I am choosing baseball fans.Yes, it’s that time of the year. Baseball fans are primed for another spring, summer, and fall of rooting for their favorite Major League Baseball team. Spring Training has begun, with the Grapefruit League out of Florida and the Cactus League our of Arizona.
For the next five weeks, the 30 MLB teams will be training, testing, and fine tuning as they prepare to compete once the official opening day of the regular season starts on March 26th.
My two favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox in the American League, and the San Francisco Giants in the National League, are both starting the 2020 season with new managers, Ron Roenicke for the Sox and Gabe Kapler for the Giants. So it will be interesting to see how these two teams do in 2020.
Well, interesting to me, anyway.
And now it’s your turn, folks. Who (or what) do you think won the week?
When I was in NYC, I was given tickets to some college basketball at the Garden, but having no interest in the sport whatever, I declined (and worked late instead!). I would have liked to go to both Meadowlands, and Yankee Stadium, but unfortunately never got the chance.

I’ve been to both, but as a fan of the visiting team, not the home team.

I have a friend to whom this is the best time of year. He’s had a rough time so I’m happy he has something to look forward to and do not disagree at all.
