Trump’s Space Force

I saw on my newsfeed on my iPhone today that yesterday afternoon Donald Trump tweeted out the brand spanking new U.S. Space Force logo.AC998F23-C9C9-417D-ACCD-3C37006B648450207286-F6A8-40BB-9C16-2540E6311F22I thought to myself, “That looks strangely familiar.” So I search the archived recesses of my memory vault and came up with this:FB2A0941-FE35-4509-9715-9B02C56F1C5ANo shit. Trump stole the Starfleet Command United Federation of Planets logo from Star Trek for his Space Force. What a copycat! Is there nothing sacred anymore?

I wonder if Captain Kirk knows about this.

Have we fallen into an alternate universe, Fandango? It sure feels like it.

He is a copy cat at his best. At his worst….. I even don’t want to think.

I was double-checking, pretty sure we already had a space military venture. It looks to me like the main point, now, is to rebrand and spend money on new signage. (Other reasons are given.)

In a Jan. 16 interview with SpaceNews … Raymond said efforts are underway to organize the Space Force staff and field commands. “There is a lot of planning going on,” he said.

Over the next several months, Space Force headquarters will be established at the Pentagon with a staff of 200. Air Force space installations will be renamed Space Force installations.

I heard it on the radio the other morning – the presenter presented it as ‘Boldly going where others have gone before’ Ha ha ha ha! 🙂
