FOWC with Fandango — Clear

FOWCWelcome to January 23, 2020 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.

I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).

Today’s word is “clear.”

Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.

Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.

The issue with pingbacks not showing up seems to have been resolved, but you might check to confirm that your pingback is there. If not, please manually add your link in the comments.

And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

    ‘Let us be clear’ is a political statement that is getting right up my nose at the moment! NOTHING they say is clear at all, and even if they say it, they don’t act n it! Grrrrrrr

    I once went to a chiropractic office that apparently hid (to some extent) the owner’s adherence to Scientology (or some aspect[s] of it). Part of the initial evaluation was the use of holding (in the patient’s hand[s]) metal tubes connected to electrical sensors. The technician doing the reading kept acting confused, with me, because he wasn’t getting anything to record. Looking into things a bit, it seems they like to get some electrical measurement and train you to make it go away. But I was already CLEAR (certainly, they didn’t tell me this or let me know I had no need of them according to their ostensible ideology — in terms of that matter of their own interest). {None of this is meant to put down chiropractic care — real chiropractic care, which is nothing to do with Scientology. Rather, chiropractic care is meant to help your body remain or become flexible and more comfortable. Sometimes, it also involves a bonus, not the main point, of nutritional recommendations. In my opinion, the only kind that matters does real “adjustments” of vertebrae and other bones.}

      Thanks for linking. I’m not sure why some pingbacks work and others don’t. Just a quirky WordPress “feature.”

      The changing weather a sign from above, perhaps?

      Howdy, John. Good story with, all things considered, an upbeat ending.
