I didn’t publish many posts today.
Why not? Because I had other pressing matters to attend to.
Like what? Like the final walkthrough of the new house we’re buying, which is pictured above (in my wildest fantasies).
How long did it take? About five hours altogether. One hour driving each way and three hours turning over every stone (figuratively speaking, not literally speaking, of course). And then another hour creating a Word document using my handwritten notes.
I’m tired and hungry — it’s dinner time in my neck of the woods, so no more posts for today. Hopefully, I’ll be back to my more regular schedule tomorrow.
Written for Linda G. Hill’s JusJoJan prompt, “publish,” and Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (Press).
Not a bad house 😉🤪

Not bad at all. One can dream, I suppose.

At least that 😉 if not really buying the house 😉

Fantasy or reality, the house looks beautiful; and more mansion than house !

Yes it does. Wouldn’t it be nice to live there?

It would indeed.
I wonder what the interior is like. Wood floors and carved furniture?

Probably very elegant.

I always wonder what you do with such a house and so much space. You could probably find a new room just about every day and then start all over. Haha. Great post!

Thanks, Parker. I just think about what it would take for the upkeep of such a mansion.

It’s the cleaning that scares me with houses that big… But the, if I had a house that size, I could probably afford a cleaner 😂

A whole houseful of cleaners. 😉

Yes, that’s also something that prevents big houses from appearing on my wish list, even in my dream versions. Cleaning and heating. And I just imagine that people with houses that big end up only using two rooms.

Yea. What’s the point??

I actually wanted to buy a big house, all of my five (grown) children going in on it, approaching this idea about a year ago. Then we could afford (together) a nice pool and who knows what. They don’t want to live with each other (and possibly with me either). Visiting is fine.

Yeah, I don’t think our offspring want to live in the same house that we do. Nor would we want them to. 😏
