#JusJoJan — The Best of Intentions

4A7C29FE-03D3-43D3-AD16-389B6E4B77CAIt was not my intention to write a post today in response to the six daily word prompts I usually include in such a post. First of all, our old dog needs a lot attention, not the least of which is our having to walk her four or five times a day.

On top of that, I’ve got a busy week coming up and I have to coordinate with a lot of people to get things scheduled. I also have to take a ride to the East Bay to visit my son and his wife on Wednesday, and that will entail a four-to-five-hour round trip.

I also decided to run out and buy a bunch of Powerball tickets because it’s not totally outside the realm of possibility that I might hit it big and win the multimillion dollar jackpot.

But as I sat there watching the football game, I decided to capitulate to the urge to keep my JusJoJan streak alive, even though that wasn’t my intention.

Written for Linda G. Hill’s JusJoJan prompt where the word is “intention.” Also for these daily prompts: Daily Addictions (walk), Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (coordinate), The Daily Spur (ride), Ragtag Daily Prompt (realm), Word of the Day Challenge (jackpot), and Your Daily Word Prompt (capitulate). Image from the cover of a book by Gilbert Van Hoeydonck.

Good luck with the Powerball! I’ve never played but I’m sure it’s stimulating when you’re scratching them off and wondering, hhmm. Is this the one?

Actually, I guess you don’t scratch a powerball. I’m thinking lottery. Ha. My mistake.

No worries. I buy “pick six” tickets and mostly end up tearing them to shreds when non of my numbers hit! Maybe I should give scratchers a try!

May you have better luck with your lottery ticket … we always buy scratch tickets for Christmas and out of the seven tickets that were mine I got a whopping big $1! That doesn’t even buy a cup of coffee. 😦
