From memory Dexy’s had at least three big hits, in the UK at any rate. Did you ever get Benny Hill? I’m sure you must’ve done, I think he was worldwide at one stage. Very dated, very sexist, but I loved his song Ernie. Did you know, he drove the fastest milkcart in the west?
Or did we just learn that although the words look the same, we speak a different language 😀

I do remember that Benny Hill Head a TV show, but I don’t think it ever achieved the popularity here of Monty Python and I don’t really recall watching it. And in the U.S., Dexys only hit was “Come on Eileen.”

Dexy’s was telling “Eileen” to come on for ever- or at least months- on the charts. Those damn blue coveralls😂
