Share Your World — Of Gratitude, Attitude and Car Parts

SYWMelanie, the host of Share Your World, promised us a lighter challenge this week after her rather dark/grim Share Your World questions from last week. And she delivered.

What makes you laugh?

These days, not enough. But the antics pulled off by our dog and cat often bring a smile to my face. Also, Stephen Colbert.

What’s the world coming to? (Credit to Mel of Crushed Caramel.)

An end.

In one sentence sum up the Internet.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car?

A new car is a NEW car. No matter how many parts you replace in you old car, it will never again be a new car, although I guess you can claim it’s “as good as new.”

Gratitude is an attitude. Yea or nay? Explain your viewpoint please!

I think gratitude and attitude are separate things, albeit they can be related. What do I mean by that? Well, gratitude basically means being thankful. It’s experiencing a feeling of gratefulness, thankfulness, appreciation, and acknowledgement. Attitude means the nature, opinion, and perspective towards things and people. Depending upon what the the subject is, I can have a good attitude or a bad attitude. So bottom line, gratitude is always positive, if genuine, but attitude can be either positive or negative.

Great perspective on Share Your World, Fandango! Thanks for sharing yours! 😀 There’s a really HILARIOUS little film clip on “SandmanJazz’s” blog about ‘the new car’. I admit to laughing aloud at it. Oh my. You might enjoy it too! 🙂

This is another group of good answers. I tend to agree with your answer to what makes you laugh… my cat just ran through the room at top speed and slid on the wood floor.
