Melanie (aka Sparks From a Combustible Mind; aka “Sparky”) was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award (congrats, Melanie).
Melanie did not nominate me or my blog, but I’m not at all upset, since she wrote, “No nominees this time, but anyone who would like to, please participate! Everyone I follow is a ‘mystery blogger’ just from the criteria!”
But she did pose some fun questions, so I felt compelled to answer them.
1. What was in your high school (secondary school) locker?
Oh jeez, I graduated from high school more than a half a century ago, so this is a guess: a jacket, books, cigarettes, notebooks, clean underpants (just in case), and condoms (wishful thinking).
2. What is one item of clothing that would make you walk out on a blind date? (If you’re married, think back to when you did date.)
Crocs. I don’t think they’d been invented back when I was dating, but if they had been, and a girl wore those things on a blind date, that would have been a deal breaker.
If you could only have three programs (on your computer) or apps on your phone, which would you choose?
Does that include or exclude apps that come preloaded on the iPhone (e.g., Safari Browser, weather app, messaging, notes, camera/photo apps, etc.)? If your question excludes those apps, the three I’d keep are WordPress, Prisma (a photo filter app), and the Kindle e-reader app.
What childish thing do you still do as an adult?
What does your favorite shirt (blouse) look like?
I’m not very fashion conscious and now that I’m retired, most of my shirts are t-shirts or sweatshirts.
BONUS WEIRD QUESTION: Who is the fourth person on your ‘missed calls’ list? You don’t have to list their name obviously, nor their relationship to you (if there is one). Please answer “sister in law” or “telemarketer” or something vague like that.
I have no idea who the fourth missed call was from, since I don’t know anyone who lives in Fall River, MA.
Anyone else wanna take a shot at Sparky’s questions?
