You took your life, but to me you’re still alive.

I hear your many voices whispering in my ear.

Your quiet voice, your happy voice, your sad voice, your sultry voice.

But while your life was ephemeral, ending way too early,

The sounds of your voices will be with me for eternity.

    Yikes. I’m not sure I could handle someone doing that. It’s hard enough to lose someone in a relatively normal way (whatever normal is when people die in many ways). The poem does go well with the picture. [I think you want “quiet” where you have “quite.”]

    I can actually relate to this. It is true, the way people’s “voices” stay behind, especially when they die too young.

    Sadly beautiful. I think most can relate to your words… not necessarily because of suicide, but the death of those we love. Very touching. Thanks for linking to In Other Words.
