Luis pointed to a tall, narrow glass enclosure. “That’s a phone booth,” he said.

“A phone booth?” Ana said. “I didn’t know they still had phone booths in the city.”

“Exactly,” Luis said. “That’s why I need to stop and take a picture of it.”

    99% of the phone booths I see now are decorations. That one’s been around a while though. It’s worth recording for posterity.

    They are nowhere to be seen now! How one used to queue up before them to make a phone call!

    There is a little bitty town here in Central Iowa that still has a working phone booth. They are SO RARE. You kind of have to take a picture if you see one. Great post!
