Welcome to March 14, 2019 and to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). It’s designed to fill the void after WordPress bailed on its daily one-word prompt.
I will be posting each day’s word just after midnight Pacific Time (US).
Today’s word is “power.”
Write a post using that word. It can be prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction. It can be any length. It can be just a picture or a drawing if you want. No holds barred, so to speak.
Once you are done, tag your post with #FOWC and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.
And be sure to read the posts of other bloggers who respond to this prompt. You will marvel at their creativity.

I was trying to enter the FOWC With Fandango- Power challenge from my Blogger site but it seems to be rejected by WordPress, it’s a shame as I am trying to keep both sites going and don’t always have the time to post on both sites all the time. https://www.joewellsofwhomithasbeensaid.com/2019/03/brexit-politicians-they-couldnt.html

I’m not sure why WordPress would reject a link from a post created on Blogger.

I am a complete Luddite with computer stuff! When I do the pingback link thing on my WordPress site it appears as if by magic on the other persons comments but when I use the Blogger site and do exactly the same it doesn’t appear, I have to enter the link myself. Yes, I know there are people out there shouting at me, “well what did you expect, you silly arse you should have done so and so!” It’s all Greek to me.

I discovered that your comment with the link from your Blogger post went into my spam folder, but I don’t understand why it would.

That’s interesting to know, even if I haven’t the faintest idea how to stop it going there, but at least I know where they’re disappearing to.
