100WW — The Middle of Nowhere

901FEA02-40AF-413E-8B7F-FEBA3D6CA557“Shit!” Erin exclaimed.

“What’s the matter, Hon?” her husband asked.

“There’s no internet out here,” she said. “I just took a spectacular photo with my iPhone and I can’t get a goddam signal to upload it to Instagram.”

“Of course there’s no signal out here,” Fred said. “We’re in the middle of nowhere.”

“I want you to delate Mother Nature for failing to blanket the planet in internet connectivity,” Erin whined.

“I pledge to you, Erin,” Fred said, “that the lodge we’re staying at tonight has WiFi.”

“Oh thank God,” Erin said. “You’re like my knight in shining armor, Fred.”

Nice! I’m not sure if the spot here had connectivity or not, but it was taken on the Road to Hana on Maui, Hawaii — and there is an inn in Hana, but I hear electronics are shunned and self-reflection and disconnecting from modern technology is the vibe 😉 Hope they weren’t heading that way 😉 Thank you for joining us again this week 🙂

Hana is beautiful, our trip to Maui my oldest son’s favorite memory. We didn’t have “electronics” then… of a portable variety, that is. (He, however, is now in IT [as well as graphic arts and management].)
