Each week I will pose what I think is a provocative question for your consideration. By provocative, I don’t mean a question that will cause annoyance or anger. Nor do I mean a question intended to arouse sexual desire or interest.
What I do mean is a question that is likely to get you to think, to be creative, and to provoke a response. Hopefully a positive response.
This week’s provocative question asks an age old question that has stumped philosophers across the ages. Interpret this question any way you want.
“Do you believe that size matters? Please explain your response.”
If you choose to participate, write a post with your response to the question. Once you are done, tag your post with #FPQ and create a pingback to this post if you are on WordPress. Or you can simply include a link to your post in the comments.
And most important, have fun.
Size does matter. I’m in the process of planning a bathroom upgrade, and part of that will involve a showerhead that comes out, perpendicular to the wall, overhead. Unlike a regular showerhead (although the height does matter somewhat even then), a person will not be able to stand under it if it isn’t placed very carefully. This is off a guest bedroom. Since my sons are tall (the shortest one is six feet even and the tallest is about six foot five), the placement will be high.

Absolutely! I am short, and I often realize that cupboards and closets were designed for taller people; on the bright side, I always have plenty of room on planes, in cars, etc. In terms of body shape, I think it only matters if too big or too small jeopardize health.

Oh dear…
…I don’t know how to reply to this without blushing!

When buying condoms, by the way, size matters too. If it (the condom) is too short or too tight or loose (long might not matter if it’s not loose or too tight), it is likely to come off. (If a guy can’t figure out which kind fits right, it’s probably a sign of something. But, depending on your interests, you might want to help him figure it out. 😂 Or not.)

Does the size matter with regards to “chocolate covered manhole covers” or “Improbable Potholes”? Just askin’?

For the gals: Yep, size matters…… dress sizes are always changing and whilst it lovely to say you can get into a size 14 dress, different shop, different style, different material, and it’s a 20 plus.
For the guys: a big posh car means squat when you can’t park it in a small space.

Size matters immensely in some instances, and not at all in others. For example, the size of needles used to draw your blood matters in a critical way, but a woman’s dress size is no indication of anything related to her intelligence or value as a human being, and similarly for men. We are not defined by surface things, but the things inside us. And when we are talking about scientific things such as measurements of amounts of something put into an invention, of course it is critical. So size IS critical in many things. Size of an engine is critical in planes and ships and cars or other vehicles. Now I have a feeling that this specific question has a lot to do with someone’s bust size or penis size. I would say that again, in both cases, it can be very irrelevant except in someone’s mental images. I have met women with huge busts who were dumb as mud hens, women with small breasts who were also not the brightest stars, and likewise I have met men with all sizes of penises. Some with large size penises are very poor lovers because they believe the size is all important. In reality, it is the whole picture – the person and their personality, and their techniques, I think too that size is critical in nature too. For example, a tree gives off the most shade, sometimes a critical issue, when it is huge; this is something hopefully we all know. And larger food feeds more people, be it fruit, vegetable or animal. So size is a critical matter depending on the context. Thank you and this is a good question.

Absolutely not, in any context.

I wrote the piece. I think it’ll go up day after tomorrow. Not quite sure. Maybe tomorrow if I can do a little juggling.

I don’t see YOUR thoughts on this Mr. Fandango. What say YOU??? And my pingback worked, so if you want my thoughts on this question, there they are. GREAT question BTW…

Okay, okay. My thought? It’s all about the context.

And “needle dicks,” pencil dicks,” “baloney,” “saggy vaginas”? I’m not sure if such erotic talk is turning me on or is causing me to never want to have sex again!

Great question – does size matter? I guess not, it reminds me of that ol’ joke – it’s not the size that matters but what you do with it – l guess at a push that could apply to most things 🙂

The variation of that ol’ joke I heard was “It’s not the size of the wand that counts, it’s the magic behind it.” Sounds like an excuse a guy with a small bit might say.

Ha ha, not heard that before.
I used to remember a nightclub line which was if you saw a good looking girl, you would be asked to score …out of 10, oh well ok, l would say she is at least a 7, and then hard pushed would be and if you had to choose out of just 2? You can see the answer .. well in that case l would be sure to give her one. In the 80’s those lines would get you a tickle or a slap, these days, l daren’t think!

Very interesting question! There is no correct way to answer this – is there? Size shouldn’t matter really, as long as it performs well (whatever that might be)
I’m not too big on size, shape or color, if it works – its good for me!
