Four More Aces

83006beb-1f5d-4c70-ba62-92ca6785fba8In his Friday Four series, Rory, A Guy Called Bloke, has once again posed four rather provocative questions for us to ponder. Here are his questions and my answers.

1] What are your strengths and of your strengths – how have they helped you throughout your life?

f8cf6798-b77c-49e1-aef0-8f26c430c80aI’m a pragmatic, rational, logical person and I believe that those characteristics have helped me make sound, well-thought-out decisions in my life.

2] What are your weaknesses and how have they or have they hindered your successes in anyway and what have you done to overcome them to rue your day?

30b7fe74-9b87-4dc4-aedf-35a2d3a9dc4eI’m a pragmatic, rational, logical person and I believe that those characteristics have occasionally caused me to miss opportunities due to over analyzing all of the options and alternatives available (i.e., analysis paralysis).

3] What makes people believe absurd conspiracy theories or alternatively are all conspiracy theories absurd? Answer which sits best with you.

Gullibility and stupidity, both of which seem to be running rampant in modern society, despite this being the so-called “Information Age.” And that’s due to the government’s adding fluoride to our drinking water and to the chemtrails consisting of chemical or biological agents left in the sky by high-flying aircraft, sprayed for nefarious purposes undisclosed to the unsuspecting general public.5c883ad7-ee3e-4bd2-b25a-5a22ff0081fe

4] How important are morals in a healthy society? What are the most important morals for citizens to have?

Very important. And read THIS for my take on what has happened to morals in America.

Your answer to #3 is really funny. On a serious note, not all conspiracy “theories” are absurd — for instance the idea that Trump’s campaign coordinated with plutocrats.

There are people, including on the left, treating it like conspiracy hype (especially the Russia aspect). For example, I’m quite concerned about progressive outlets saying Rachel Maddow has lost her mind or her principles — which I see as obviously wrong. [So, I have my own conspiracy theory of my own. One of these individuals has said (and he’s a comedian besides a news commentator on youtube) that he wishes someone would pay him off (in such a way as he accuses Rachel of having succumbed). Ha-ha-funny, right? But I think someone is paying him off. What is going on with him is unlikely to ever be pursued or proven (although a friend of his [Randy Credico] is in the news recently).]

Rachel Maddow is probably one of the few TV pundits who can be counted on to tell it like it is.

I must say that your mention of ‘chemtrails’ is a little open ended. Because the government do actually add fluoride to the water (and hence my teeth have gone the distance) ….

Yes, many places in the US (and elsewhere) do add fluoride to the water, but most people don’t think of it as a mind-control substance. Just as something to help strengthen teeth.

I thought afterwards that maybe I should have added a “PS” to my post about how facts such as Trump is a liar are not loony conspiracy theories like Bigfoot sightings and whatnot but ehhhh whatever.

Beautifully done, great answers Fandango – oh yes, well done also for reminding me about the Flouride to the water, that must have been what spiked me over the edge in the first place. I personally and yeah l have always felt kind of odd especially if the air traffic has been busy overhead, but they ‘re not falso, they’re reality – surely?

I’m assuming that you were wearing your sarcasm hat when you answered the conspiracy question? Interesting answers as always!
